Calgary, AB – Ethan Hayter scored a hat-trick to help bring the San Jose Sharts to an 11-6 route over the Bears at Village Square on Saturday.

Completing the scoring for for the San Jose Sharts was Robert Anhorn, Matthew Koch and Carson Taylor with a pair of goals each, Easton Lausberg and Braden Plaschewsky each contributing with single markers. Anhorn added three assists, Lausberg, Plaschewsky and Ethan Coventry each added two assists. Goaltender Jackson Eady picked up the victory for the San Jose Sharts giving up six goals.

The win snapped the San Jose Sharts' three-game losing skid.

Finding the back of the net for the Bears was Pierre Girard with four strikes and Dustin Gilbert and Ty McLean chipping in with singles. Curtis De Bruyn added two assists. Goaltender Scott Bowles surrendered 11 goals in the loss for the Bears.

With the victory, the San Jose Sharts improve to 10-17-4-0 while the Bears fall to 23-7-1-0.
