Calgary, AB – Justin Enns scored a hat-trick and added an assist to help secure the Tropics a victory in a 9-6 victory over the Ice Goats at George Blundun on Saturday.

Completing the scoring for for the Tropics was Craig Dworschak with two goals, Noah Melnychuk and Dennis Block, Jason Little and Mark Nisbet each contributing with single markers. Dworschak added three assists, Kale Smith and Matt Bush each added two assists. Goaltender John Frazer picked up the victory for the Tropics giving up six goals.

Finding the back of the net for the Ice Goats was Brady Coady and Jeff Mikalishen with a pair of goals each, Myles Genyk and Owen MacEachern chipping in with singles. Shaun Hunter added three assists, Genyk and Tim Robinson each added two assists. Goaltender Sean Beauparlant surrendered nine goals in the loss for the Ice Goats.

With the victory, the Tropics improve to 9-21-0-0 while the Ice Goats fall to 8-18-4-0.
