Calgary, AB – Kurt Thorner scored four goals and added an assist as the Goldenhawks extended its winning streak to 11 games with a 11-2 route over the Bears at Stew Hendry on Sunday.

Completing the scoring for for the Goldenhawks was Cory Fraser with two goals, Austin Smith and Austin Warkentin, Dennis Hall, Dan Warkentin and Tyson Smith chipping in with singles. Smith added six assists, Fraser added five assists, Warkentin and Liam Wiese each added two assists. Goaltender Nik Bregeda picked up the victory for the Goldenhawks giving up two goals.

Finding the back of the net for the Bears was Jesse Sabados and Tyler Yamashiro each contributing with single markers. Mike Winnitoy added two assists. Goaltender Scott Bowles surrendered 11 goals in the loss for the Bears.

With the victory, the Goldenhawks improve to 22-7-1-0 while the Bears fall to 23-6-1-0.
