Calgary, AB – Matt Scrivens scored two goals and added two assists to help bring the Beefcakes to an 11-6 route over the San Jose Sharts at Optimist on Sunday.

Completing the scoring for for the Beefcakes was Matthew Vanderberg and Kyle Doucet and Tanner Lomsnes with a pair of goals each, Jeff Sapieha, Jeff Meunier and Doug Evans each contributing with single markers. Marc Rancourt added five assists, Doucet, Vanderberg, Sapieha. Goaltender Breton Trask picked up the victory for the Beefcakes giving up six goals.

The win snapped the Beefcakes' three-game losing skid.

Finding the back of the net for the San Jose Sharts was Colton Gerlitz with two goals and Michael Klacmera, Matthew Koch, Carson Taylor and Braden Plaschewsky chipping in with singles. Robert Anhorn added five assists and Klacmera added three assists. Goaltender Jackson Eady surrendered 11 goals in the loss for the San Jose Sharts.

With the victory, the Beefcakes improve to 14-12-4-0 while the San Jose Sharts fall to 9-17-4-0.
