Calgary, AB – Jason Nugent scored a hat-trick and added two assists to spark the IceCats to a 6-3 win over the Mustangs at Ernie Starr on Sunday.

Also scoring for the IceCats was Matt Dawe and Blaine McIntosh and Logan Harris each adding single goals. Nugent added two assists. Goaltender Darryl Leray picked up the victory for the IceCats giving up three goals.

Lighting the lamp for the Mustangs was Jason Braun, Tyson Trail and Braydon Hart each adding a goal. Brent Phelps added two assists. Goaltender JF Voyer surrendered six goals in the loss for the Mustangs.

With the victory, the IceCats improve to 13-13-3-0 while the Mustangs fall to 16-10-3-0.
