Calgary, AB – Mathew Popowich scored a hat-trick and added an assist for the Schooners and Everett Nemeth scored two goals and added an assist for the Buffaloes as the teams battled to a 6-6 tie at George Blundun on Saturday.

Also scoring for the Buffaloes was , TJ Smith, Dare Mably and Victor Bakala each adding a goal. Brodie Lingard and Colin Mah each added two assists. Goaltender Todd Ashton surrendered six goals in the tie for the Buffaloes.

Also scoring for the Schooners was Joshua Schafer, Braden Park and Tyler Penner each adding single goals. Josh Herrick, Nick Behrend and Pete Johnson each added two assists. Goaltender Brad Lowe gave up six goals in the tie for the Schooners.

After the tie, the Schooners have a record of 13-14-2-0 while the Buffaloes move to 7-19-3-0.
