Trampuh tallies pair, The Herd beat Beefcakes
Calgary, AB – Ethan Trampuh scored two goals to lead The Herd to a 5-3 triumph over the Beefcakes at Frank McCool on Friday.
Completing the scoring for for The Herd was Tyler Witzke and Nic Lush and Cameron Shorrock chipping in with a goal each. Bryan Weber and Jaren Turnquist each added two assists. Goaltender Nick Ewanchuk picked up the victory for The Herd giving up three goals.
The win snapped The Herd's four-game losing skid.
Finding the twine for the Beefcakes was Matthew Vanderberg, Kevin Robertson and Garrick Perry chipping in with singles. Goaltender Braedon Fleming surrendered five goals in the loss for the Beefcakes.
With the victory, The Herd improve to 8-19-2-0 while the Beefcakes fall to 13-12-4-0.
