Calgary, AB – Austin Smith scored a hat-trick and added an assist as the Goldenhawks extended its winning streak to 10 games with a 9-4 throttling over the Goats at Frank McCool on Tuesday.

Rounding out the scoring for the Goldenhawks was Dan Warkentin and Cory Fraser with a pair of goals each and Kurt Thorner and Austin Warkentin chipping in with a goal each. Warkentin, Thorner and Corey Handel each added two assists. Goaltender Nik Bregeda picked up the win for the Goldenhawks giving up four goals.

Cashing in for the Goats was Jarod Domingo with a hat-trick and Matthew Eagletail with a single tally. Zach Carter added three assists. Goaltender Zee Hamilton surrendered nine goals in the loss for the Goats.

With the win, the Goldenhawks improve to 21-7-1-0 while the Goats fall to 6-22-1-0.
