Calgary, AB – JF Voyer pitched a shutout and Jordan Emmerson scored a hat-trick and added an assist to help fuel the Mustangs to a 9-0 pounding over the Tropics at Stew Hendry on Sunday.

Rounding out the scoring for the Mustangs was Brent Phelps and Braydon Hart with a pair of goals each and Matthew Emmerson and Matt Cook with a goal each. Tyson Trail added three assists, BJ Gurba and Jason Braun each added two assists.

Goaltender John Frazer surrendered nine goals in the loss for the Tropics.

With the win, the Mustangs improve to 16-9-3-0 while the Tropics fall to 7-21-0-0.
