McIntosh scores five, IceCats clobber Ice Goats
Calgary, AB – Blaine McIntosh scored five goals and added an assist to lead the IceCats to a 7-3 whipping over the Ice Goats at Stew Hendry on Sunday.
Completing the scoring for for the IceCats was Jamieson Smith and Mathew Jobin each tallying single markers. Smith added four assists and Rory Shott added three assists. Goaltender Darryl Leray picked up the victory for the IceCats giving up three goals.
Finding the twine for the Ice Goats was Jeff Mikalishen with two goals and Shaun Hunter with a single marker. Goaltender Sean Beauparlant surrendered seven goals in the loss for the Ice Goats.
With the victory, the IceCats improve to 12-13-3-0 while the Ice Goats fall to 8-16-4-0.
