Calgary, AB – Michael Fossheim scored two goals and added an assist to help lift the Busch Leaguers to an 8-5 victory over the Flying Elbows at Optimist on Sunday.

Adding markers for the Busch Leaguers was Jack Carleton with two goals and Markus Dielissen, Jeremie Bosse, Jordan Woods and Nolan Bailey each with single strikes. Dielissen, Bosse, Matthew Rivoire and Steve Wright each added two assists. Goaltender Ethan Bailey picked up the victory for the Busch Leaguers giving up five goals.

The win snapped the Busch Leaguers' four-game losing skid.

Scoring for the Flying Elbows was Scott Towns with a hat-trick and Tyler Young and Shaun Kos each adding single goals. Young and Colin Oke each added two assists. Goaltender Jeremy Ellis surrendered eight goals in the loss for the Flying Elbows.

With the victory, the Busch Leaguers improve to 6-21-1-0 while the Flying Elbows fall to 15-9-4-0.
