Calgary, AB – Curtis Butcher scored four goals and added an assist to help lift the Panthers to a 12-4 pounding over the Blackout at Ernie Starr on Sunday.

Also scoring for the Panthers was Mike Tucker with a hat-trick, Matthew Buchholz with two goals, Mark Walsh and Vince Niro and Jeff Stewart each adding single goals. Niro and Walsh each added five assists, Mike Juhasz added three assists, Tucker, Scott Coe and Todd Kathol each added two assists. Goaltender Doug Lavers picked up the victory for the Panthers giving up four goals.

Scoring for the Blackout was Jordan Vine with a hat-trick and Steve Holford with a single marker. Phil Bamber added four assists. Goaltender Chase Simard surrendered 12 goals in the loss for the Blackout.

With the victory, the Panthers improve to 13-14-1-0 while the Blackout fall to 11-15-2-0.
