Calgary, AB – Tyler Yamashiro scored five goals to help secure the Bears a victory in an 11-7 trouncing over the Beefcakes at George Blundun on Saturday.

Completing the scoring for for the Bears was Cameron Lamoureux and Brett Switzer with a pair of goals each and Nic Nolet and Ben Gazdic each contributing with single markers. Samuel Coyne added six assists, Nolet added four assists, Lamoureux, Gazdic and Jesse Sabados each added three assists and Switzer added two assists. Goaltender Scott Bowles picked up the victory for the Bears giving up seven goals.

Finding the back of the net for the Beefcakes was Tanner Lomsnes with a hat-trick, Fraser Grant with two goals and Matthew Vanderberg and Matt Scrivens with a goal each. Jeff Meunier added three assists, Vanderberg, Brett Person and Doug Evans each added two assists. Goaltender Braedon Fleming surrendered 11 goals in the loss for the Beefcakes.

With the victory, the Bears improve to 23-4-1-0 while the Beefcakes fall to 13-11-4-0.
