Calgary, AB – Kyle Thompson scored four goals and added three assists to help lift the Smokin' Guns to an 11-4 pounding over the Ice Goats at Ernie Starr on Sunday.

Also scoring for the Smokin' Guns was Clifton O'Brien and Danny Faulkner with a pair of goals each and Joel Manson, Jesse Shaw and Jeremy Broughton each with single strikes. O'Brien, Manson, Karl Mendes, Khi Mattu and David Reis each added two assists. Goaltender James McGivern picked up the victory for the Smokin' Guns giving up four goals.

Scoring for the Ice Goats was Brady Coady, Michael Chun, Josh Ramage and Brandon Kiist each adding single goals. Coady added two assists. Goaltender Sean Beauparlant surrendered 11 goals in the loss for the Ice Goats.

With the victory, the Smokin' Guns improve to 9-9-2-0 while the Ice Goats fall to 6-10-4-0.
