Calgary, AB – Kyle Thompson scored a hat-trick for the Smokin' Guns and Brandon Boyle scored a goal and added two assists for the Mustangs as the teams fought to a 6-6 tie at Stew Hendry on Sunday.

Also scoring for the Mustangs was , Jordan Emmerson and Aaron Merkosky with a pair of goals each and Taylor Johnson each adding a goal. Tyson Walker added five assists. Goaltender JF Voyer surrendered six goals in the tie for the Mustangs.

Also scoring for the Smokin' Guns was Clifton O'Brien, Evan Ives and Chris Goodall with a goal each. Jesse Shaw added two assists. Goaltender James McGivern gave up six goals in the tie for the Smokin' Guns.

After the tie, the Smokin' Guns have a record of 8-8-2-0 while the Mustangs move to 9-6-3-0.
