Calgary, AB – Owen Guenter scored a hat-trick to help lift The Herd to an 8-6 win over the Bears at Norma Bush on Saturday.

Also scoring for The Herd was Tyler Witzke and Bryan Weber, Devin Barlow, Jaren Turnquist and Devyn Stewart each adding single goals. Kyle Fry added three assists, Witzke, Weber and Ethan Trampuh each added two assists. Goaltender Devin Reagan picked up the victory for The Herd giving up six goals.

Scoring for the Bears was Jonathan Turk with two goals and Curtis De Bruyn, Ryley Bosman, Ben Gazdic and Kevin Wowk each with single strikes. Tyler Yamashiro added two assists. Goaltender Scott Bowles surrendered eight goals in the loss for the Bears.

With the victory, The Herd improve to 9-21-2-0 while the Bears fall to 23-8-1-0.
