Calgary, AB – Kurt Thorner scored two goals and added an assist as the Goldenhawks extended its winning streak to 13 games with a 7-3 pummeling over the Beefcakes at George Blundun on Saturday.

Also scoring for the Goldenhawks was Cole Percifield with two goals and Dennis Hall, Cory Fraser and Austin Smith each adding a goal. Hall and Jaime Clague each added two assists. Goaltender Aaron Shukin picked up the win for the Goldenhawks giving up three goals.

Lighting the lamp for the Beefcakes was Matthew Vanderberg with two goals and Matt Scrivens with a single tally. Luke Gill added two assists. Goaltender Braedon Fleming surrendered seven goals in the loss for the Beefcakes.

With the win, the Goldenhawks improve to 24-7-1-0 while the Beefcakes fall to 15-13-4-0.
