Calgary, AB – Tyler Young scored seven goals to help lift the Flying Elbows to an 11-5 pounding over the Blackout at Stew Hendry on Sunday.

Adding markers for the Flying Elbows was Scott Towns with two goals, Kyle Christensen and Tim Fournier each adding single goals. Towns added five assists and Shane Towns added two assists. Goaltender Jeremy Ellis picked up the victory for the Flying Elbows giving up five goals.

Scoring for the Blackout was Devon Downey with two goals and Jordan Moe, Nathan Wood and Phil Bamber each with single strikes. Sheldon Karak and Jordan Vine each added two assists. Goaltender Chase Simard surrendered 11 goals in the loss for the Blackout.

With the victory, the Flying Elbows improve to 17-9-5-0 while the Blackout fall to 12-16-3-0.
