Calgary, AB – Matthew Vanderberg scored four goals and added two assists to help fuel the Beefcakes to an 11-7 pounding over the New Jori Devils at Ernie Starr on Sunday.

Rounding out the scoring for the Beefcakes was Fraser Grant with a hat-trick, Tanner Lomsnes and Marc Rancourt, Ryan Wales and Kyle Doucet each adding single tallies. Lomsnes added three assists, Vanderberg, Kevin Robertson, Chris Jordan and Graham Bogle each added two assists. Goaltender Breton Trask picked up the win for the Beefcakes giving up seven goals.

Cashing in for the New Jori Devils was Adam Forrest with two goals and Diego Arenas, Ben Edwardson, Mike Petursson, Gerry Junio and Jonathan Forrest chipping in with a goal each. Sam Woods added four assists and Arenas added three assists. Goaltender Matt Philip surrendered 11 goals in the loss for the New Jori Devils.

With the win, the Beefcakes improve to 15-12-4-0 while the New Jori Devils fall to 6-22-3-0.
