Gary has brought alot of unknowns to the Pirates in 2008, but has shown management that this kid is ready to take the Pirates to the next level. With the squad on his back the expectations continue to mount.

On the fifth day Gar Bear Stare said "Smyth to the rescue". On the sixth day the Pirates responded "Thank you, someone who can score". On the seventh day Gar Bear said "I am your saviour". On the eighth day the Pirates responded "You are playing with Murph and Squeak".
