Calgary, AB – Ian Stang* scored four goals and added two assists as the Rustlers extended its winning streak to three games with a 8-5 win over the Blades at Frank McCool on Friday.

Rounding out the scoring for the Rustlers was Kyle Smart* with a hat-trick and Tyler Bungay* with a single tally. Smart* and Cody Chorney* each added three assists, Stang*, Neil Hawrlyik*, Adam Peters* and Derek Britton* each added two assists. Goaltender Paul Chatten* picked up the win for the Rustlers giving up 0 goals.

Striking for the Blades was Bob Storrs* and Noel Lumsden* with a pair of goals each and Jason Johnson with a single marker. Dale Kindlein added three assists and Storrs* added two assists. Goaltender Graeme Rowe* surrendered 0 goals in the loss for the Blades.

The loss snuffed out the Blades' four-game winning streak.

With the win, the Rustlers improve to 10-17-1-0 while the Blades fall to 17-10-0-0.
