Calgary, AB – Trevor Witowski scored two goals and added two assists to help lift the Chevron to an 8-5 victory over the Hopewell Hurricanes at Stew Hendry on Sunday.

Adding markers for the Chevron was Jason Graham with two goals and Greg Deuchar, Doug Gawley, Mike Eleftheriou and Kevin Sinnott each with single strikes. Goaltender John Scott picked up the victory for the Chevron giving up 0 goals.

Scoring for the Hopewell Hurricanes was Paul Taylor with a hat-trick and Brent McClocklin and Martin Carter each adding single goals. Stacy Mathieson added two assists. Goaltender Mark Flath surrendered 0 goals in the loss for the Hopewell Hurricanes.

With the victory, the Chevron improve to 3-2-1-0 while the Hopewell Hurricanes fall to 1-5-0-0.
