Calgary, AB – Trevor Chown scored a goal including his 14th goal of the season with 6:14 remaining in the third period and and added two assists to help fuel the Tailgaters to a 6-5 conquest over the Knights at Stew Hendry on Sunday.

Rounding out the scoring for the Tailgaters was Chris Legrow with two goals and Boyd Crockett, Cody Scheu, Tristan Janusc chipping in with a goal each. Trevor Forward added four assists, Lance Nixon. Goaltender Todd Bettison picked up the win for the Tailgaters giving up five goals.

The win snapped the Tailgaters' three-game losing skid.

Striking for the Knights was Will Clark and Chris Young with a pair of goals each and Andy Williamson with a single tally. Clark and Young each added two assists. Goaltender Mark Watson surrendered six goals in the loss for the Knights.

With the win, the Tailgaters improve to 7-16-4-0 while the Knights fall to 10-16-1-0.
