Calgary, AB – Rob Baillargeon scored two goals as the Mustangs extended their winning streak to five games with a 7-5 conquest over the Wolves at Optimist on Sunday.

Capping off the scoring for the Mustangs was Brent Phelps and Colin Baillargeon, Darryl MacDonald, Denis Bloquiere and Daniel Chisholm each tallying single markers. Al Myette and Joel Merkosky each added two assists. Goaltender Duane Arsenault picked up the win for the Mustangs giving up five goals.

Sniping for the Wolves was Ryan Bennato with a hat-trick and Ziad Taha and Trevor Sorge contributing with a goal each. Travis Hodges added three assists. Goaltender Nathan Steinke surrendered seven goals in the loss for the Wolves.

With the win, the Mustangs improve to 17-8-2-0 while the Wolves fall to 15-10-2-0.
