Calgary, AB – Shane Black scored two goals to fuel the Warthogs to a 9-3 thrashing over the Flying Hellfish at Southland on Monday.

Capping off the scoring for the Warthogs was Chad Dauphenais and Jordan Thornley, Jesse Perrin, Alex Berry, Matt Thesien, Lauren Davies and Jarrod Stanton each tallying single markers. Dauphenais, Don Westman, Chad Willis and Dave Yuris each added two assists. Goaltender Shaun McKenzie picked up the win for the Warthogs giving up three goals.

Finding the twine for the Flying Hellfish was Steven Kendrick, Kevin Hyland and Vince Niro chipping in with a goal each. Goaltender Lorne Green surrendered nine goals in the loss for the Flying Hellfish.

With the win, the Warthogs improve to 7-12-2-0 while the Flying Hellfish fall to 4-15-2-0.
