Calgary, AB – Dakota Leppa scored two goals and added two assists to guide The Boundary Bears to an 8-5 conquest over the Sofa Kings at Ernie Starr on Sunday.

Rounding out the scoring for The Boundary Bears was Ky Falk with two goals and Gordon Verok, Ty Klassen, Carl Knudsen and Kirk Sproule each adding single tallies. Leppa, Jared Sproule, Lane Wagner and Thomas Sharuga each added two assists. Goaltender Christian Chivilo picked up the win for The Boundary Bears giving up five goals.

Cashing in for the Sofa Kings was Gord Matheson with two goals and Charles Abbott, Brandon Long and Adam MacLean chipping in with a goal each. Goaltender Nico Vandersalm surrendered eight goals in the loss for the Sofa Kings.

With the win, The Boundary Bears improve to 7-9-4-0 while the Sofa Kings fall to 8-9-3-0.
