Calgary, AB – Dakota Leppa scored six goals and added two assists to spark The Boundary Bears to a 12-6 pummeling over the Ducks at Village Square on Friday.

Also scoring for The Boundary Bears was Troy Miller and Kirk Sproule, Lane Wagner, Carl Knudsen, Ty Klassen and Gordon Verok each adding single goals. Miller added four assists, Leppa, Sproule, Wagner, Knudsen and Kyle Morton each added two assists. Goaltender Christian Chivilo picked up the win for The Boundary Bears giving up six goals.

Lighting the lamp for the Ducks was Mike Clark with a hat-trick and Logan Gabel, Dan Fulmore and Matt Lafrance each adding a goal. Mitch Nagan added three assists, Gabel and Alex Chow each added two assists. Goaltender Naveed Zawari surrendered 12 goals in the loss for the Ducks.

With the win, The Boundary Bears improve to 2-1-0-0 while the Ducks fall to 0-3-0-0.
