Calgary, AB – Dayne Wingrave scored a hat-trick and added an assist to help bring the IceCats to a 7-4 triumph over the Hopewell Hurricanes at Village Square on Saturday.

Completing the scoring for for the IceCats was Kevan Sinclair with a hat-trick and Reggie Lang with a single marker. Vance Alexander added five assists and Mark Sproxton added two assists. Goaltender Darryl Leray picked up the victory for the IceCats giving up four goals.

Finding the back of the net for the Hopewell Hurricanes was Trevor Ceccanesse with two goals and Tyler Legg and Andy Keats chipping in with singles. Goaltender Steve Tolhurst surrendered seven goals in the loss for the Hopewell Hurricanes.

With the victory, the IceCats improve to 11-5-1-0 while the Hopewell Hurricanes fall to 8-7-2-0.
