Calgary, AB – Adam Swallow scored his first goal of the season with 2:00 remaining in the third period and Carson Taylor scored a hat-trick as the Samsquantches extended their winning streak to eight games with a 6-5 conquest over the Warthogs at Ernie Starr on Sunday.

Capping off the scoring for the Samsquantches was Adam Jose, Rhett Hoogeveen contributing with a goal each. Sean Griffiths added three assists, Jose and Mike Graham each added two assists. Goaltender Peter Sombyk picked up the win for the Samsquantches giving up five goals.

Sniping for the Warthogs was Jordan Thornley with a hat-trick and Ryan Delete Klinok and Stu Mckenzie each tallying single markers. Chad Willis added three assists, Jesse Perrin and Jared Vaness each added two assists. Goaltender Kyle Wilson surrendered six goals in the loss for the Warthogs.

With the win, the Samsquantches improve to 11-4-0-0 while the Warthogs fall to 4-9-2-0.
