Calgary, AB – Matt Bucholz scored a hat-trick and added two assists to spark the Panthers to a 7-3 pummeling over the Blazers at Stew Hendry on Sunday.

Also scoring for the Panthers was Mike Tucker with two goals, Sandy Quilty and Ying Yuen each adding a goal. Todd Kathol added three assists, Tucker, Scott Coe, Tyler Boldt. Goaltender Doug Lavers picked up the win for the Panthers giving up three goals.

Lighting the lamp for the Blazers was Orie Spearing, Jason McGavin and Chris Hagel each adding single goals. Goaltender Jake Moddle surrendered seven goals in the loss for the Blazers.

With the win, the Panthers improve to 10-4-1-0 while the Blazers fall to 2-10-2-0.
