Calgary, AB – Matthew Goddard scored two goals to help lift the Grasshoppers to a 7-5 victory over the Panthers at Ernie Starr on Sunday.

Also scoring for the Grasshoppers was Andy Walsh with two goals and Sebastian Gregoire, Morgan Rudiger and Kirk Hildebrandt each adding single goals. Ryan Hildebrandt added three assists. Goaltender Nathan Porco picked up the victory for the Grasshoppers giving up five goals.

Scoring for the Panthers was Mike Tucker with two goals and Matt Bucholz, Jeff Stewart and Dean Lubarsky each with single strikes. Andrew Fox added three assists. Goaltender Doug Lavers surrendered seven goals in the loss for the Panthers.

With the victory, the Grasshoppers improve to 4-0-2-0 while the Panthers fall to 4-3-0-0.
