Calgary, AB – Alex Pronchuk scored a hat-trick and added two assists as the Da Byes extended its winning streak to five games with a 8-2 throttling over The Boundary Bears at Optimist on Saturday.

Rounding out the scoring for the Da Byes was Grahim Lanigan with a hat-trick, Reed Murray and Glenn Saunders chipping in with a goal each. Murray. Goaltender Can Lanigan picked up the win for the Da Byes giving up two goals.

Cashing in for The Boundary Bears was Kevin Mikkelson and Thomas Sharuga each adding single tallies. Ky Falk added two assists. Goaltender Christian Chivilo surrendered eight goals in the loss for The Boundary Bears.

The setback halted The Boundary Bears' five-game winning streak.

With the win, the Da Byes improve to 19-11-2-0 while The Boundary Bears fall to 15-13-4-0.
