Calgary, AB – Lance Nixon scored two goals to help secure the Tailgaters a victory in an 8-3 trouncing over the Knights at Stew Hendry on Sunday.

Adding markers for the Tailgaters was Logan Harris with two goals and Boyd Crockett, Rusty Jenner, Trevor Chown and Austin Webster with a goal each. Crockett added three assists, Tyler Richardson, Shawn Karaki and JD Goddard each added two assists. Goaltender Todd Bettison picked up the victory for the Tailgaters giving up three goals.

Providing the offence for the Knights was Andrew Nicol, Bryce Davis and Kevin Mullie each contributing with single markers. Goaltender Trevor Sedgwick surrendered eight goals in the loss for the Knights.

With the victory, the Tailgaters improve to 3-2-1-0 while the Knights fall to 1-5-0-0.
