Calgary, AB – Trevor Ceccanesse scored two goals for the Hopewell Hurricanes and Ben Bleakley scored two goals and added an assist for the Tailgaters as the teams fought to a 5-5 tie at Optimist on Sunday.

Capping off the scoring for the Tailgaters was Boyd Crockett, Lance Nixon and Tristan Janusc contributing with a goal each. Trevor Chown added four assists. Goaltender Todd Bettison surrendered five goals in the tie for the Tailgaters.

Capping off the scoring for the Hopewell Hurricanes was Brandon Fong, Matt Thibault and Lucas Snyder each adding single tallies. Ryan Miller added two assists. Goaltender Steve Tolhurst gave up five goals in the tie for the Hopewell Hurricanes.

After the tie, the Hopewell Hurricanes have a record of 11-16-3-0 while the Tailgaters move to 8-17-5-0.
