Calgary, AB – Nathan Woynarski* scored his second goal of the playoffs with 2:35 remaining in the third period and Steve Tuckey* scored two goals to guide the Flying Elbows to a 7-6 conquest over the Chevron at Stew Hendry on Saturday.

Rounding out the scoring for the Flying Elbows was Francois Dion* and Kyle Christensen*, Jason Oke*, Tyson Woynarski* each adding single tallies. Dion* and Colin Oke* each added two assists. Goaltender Allan Manz* picked up the win for the Flying Elbows giving up six goals.

Cashing in for the Chevron was Cale Runions* with two goals and Mike Prins*, Kyle Myden*, Casey Bajnok* and Fred Audet* chipping in with a goal each. Prins* added three assists and Scott Sharp* added two assists. Goaltender Darrell Gall* surrendered seven goals in the loss for the Chevron.

With the win, the Flying Elbows improve to 1-1-0-0 while the Chevron fall to 0-2-0-0.
