Calgary, AB – Eric Charron* scored two goals to spark the IceCats to a 5-2 win over the Flying Elbows at Henry Viney on Sunday.

Also scoring for the IceCats was Tyson McDonald* and Reggie Lang* and Nik Cooper* each adding single goals. Rob Walker* added two assists. Goaltender Darryl Leray* picked up the win for the IceCats giving up two goals.

Lighting the lamp for the Flying Elbows was Nathan Woynarski* and Tyson Woynarski* each adding a goal. Goaltender Allan Manz* surrendered five goals in the loss for the Flying Elbows.

With the win, the IceCats improve to 2-1-0-0 while the Flying Elbows fall to 1-2-0-0.

UP NEXT: The IceCats are back at it on Monday, April 9, 2018 at 9:00 PM at Shouldice when they battle the Tailgaters. The Flying Elbows have no more games on the Playoffs 2018 schedule.
