Calgary, AB – Lucas Mertz* scored a hat-trick and added two assists to help support the Wizards in a 9-4 spanking over the Westside Wranglers at Village Square on Friday.

Adding markers for the Wizards was Kylan Falk* and Kevan Mikkelsen* with a pair of goals each and Tristan Hodgson* and Austin Hanna* with a goal each. Matt Howatt* added four assists, Mertz* and Falk* each added two assists. Goaltender Derek Blais* picked up the victory for the Wizards giving up four goals.

Providing the offence for the Westside Wranglers was Andy Coates*, Brian Moore*, Mike Smilsky* and Marek Pawlicki* each with single strikes. Coates* added two assists. Goaltender Chris Holden* surrendered nine goals in the loss for the Westside Wranglers.

With the victory, the Wizards improve to 10-21-1-0 while the Westside Wranglers fall to 18-11-3-0.
