Calgary, AB – Brandon Long* scored two goals including his 36th goal of the season with 2:51 remaining in the third period and and added two assists to spark the Sofa Kings to a 5-4 win over the Colts at Village Square on Saturday.

Also scoring for the Sofa Kings was Tommy Hrazdira* and Regan Yeager* and Lucas Long* each adding single goals. Hrazdira* added three assists. Goaltender Nico Vandersalm * picked up the victory for the Sofa Kings giving up four goals.

Lighting the lamp for the Colts was Ryan Toole*, David Wirsta*, Devin Affonso* and Brandon Luong* each with single strikes. Toole* added two assists. Goaltender Jason Crossland* surrendered five goals in the loss for the Colts.

The loss snuffed out the Colts' five-game winning streak.

With the victory, the Sofa Kings improve to 13-5-3-0 while the Colts fall to 14-7-0-0.
