Dion tallies pair, Da Byes beat Bulldogs
Calgary, AB – Dean Dion scored two goals and added two assists as the Da Byes extended its winning streak to three games with a 8-5 triumph over the Bulldogs at Ernie Starr on Sunday.
Completing the scoring for for the Da Byes was Dan Arnold* with two goals and Marc Young*, Mitch Hagan*, Kyle Gurash* and Kyle Daniel* chipping in with a goal each. Glenn Saunders*. Goaltender Leslie Redden picked up the victory for the Da Byes giving up five goals.
Finding the back of the net for the Bulldogs was Joel Merkosky*, James Hirsch*, Owen Strychun*, Riley Hicks* and Kevin Long* chipping in with singles. Merkosky* added two assists. Goaltender Jay Mitchell* surrendered eight goals in the loss for the Bulldogs.
With the victory, the Da Byes improve to 19-7-3-0 while the Bulldogs fall to 11-18-0-0.
