Calgary, AB – Brandon Long* scored four goals to spark the Sofa Kings to a 10-7 win over the Grasshoppers at Village Square on Friday.

Also scoring for the Sofa Kings was Tommy Hrazdira* and Adam MacLean* with a pair of goals each and Gord Matheson * and Reto Stiz* with a goal each. Matheson * added two assists. Goaltender Nico Vandersalm * picked up the win for the Sofa Kings giving up seven goals.

Lighting the lamp for the Grasshoppers was Morgan Rudiger* and Carson Packer* with a pair of goals each, Sebastien Gregoire*, Brent (Slitz) Ross* and Blake Lawrey* each adding a goal. Rudiger* added three assists and Packer* added two assists. Goaltender Lesley Reddon* surrendered 10 goals in the loss for the Grasshoppers.

With the win, the Sofa Kings improve to 19-6-4-0 while the Grasshoppers fall to 14-14-1-0.
