Calgary, AB – Jordan Thornley* scored four goals and added three assists to lead the Warthogs to a 10-3 whipping over the Rustlers at Optimist on Saturday.

Completing the scoring for for the Warthogs was Jared Veness* with a hat-trick, Scott Lyons* and Tyler Whiteside and Stu Mckenzie* chipping in with singles. Thornley*, Shane Blach* and Rob Nagel* each added three assists, Hugh Hamilton* and James Slowman* each added two assists. Goaltender Shaun McKenzie* picked up the victory for the Warthogs giving up three goals.

Finding the twine for the Rustlers was Nic Darling*, Graham Todd and Brett Herron chipping in with a goal each. Goaltender Cam Goldade* surrendered 10 goals in the loss for the Rustlers.

With the victory, the Warthogs improve to 13-11-2-0 while the Rustlers fall to 0-26-2-0.
