Calgary, AB – Gord Matheson * scored two goals and added three assists to help secure the Sofa Kings a victory in a 10-6 trouncing over the Rustlers at Stew Hendry on Sunday.

Adding markers for the Sofa Kings was Regan Yeager* and Brian Ceelen* with a pair of goals each, Brandon Long*, Lucas Long*, Rory Dawson * and Richard Smythe* with a goal each. Lyle Armitage * added five assists, Matheson * and Long* each added three assists and Travis Rudy* added two assists. Goaltender Nico Vandersalm * picked up the victory for the Sofa Kings giving up six goals.

Providing the offence for the Rustlers was Steve Said with a hat-trick, Joe McGrath with two goals and David Ford with a single marker. Said added two assists. Goaltender Cam Goldade* surrendered 10 goals in the loss for the Rustlers.

With the victory, the Sofa Kings improve to 16-6-3-0 while the Rustlers fall to 0-24-2-0.
