Ginet* tallies five, Raymond James Raiders whip Slashers
Calgary, AB – Brad Ginet* scored five goals and added an assist as the Raymond James Raiders extended its winning streak to seven games with a 16-7 throttling over the Slashers at Norma Bush on Saturday.
Rounding out the scoring for the Raymond James Raiders was Trevor Lindermaider with a hat-trick, Julian Buck*, Chris Ban* and Patrick Rathwell* with a pair of goals each, John Cartwright and Cole Fallis chipping in with a goal each. Marcus Hoover* added seven assists and Buck* added four assists. Goaltender Kyle Hart* picked up the win for the Raymond James Raiders giving up seven goals.
Cashing in for the Slashers was Kevin Belanger* with a hat-trick and Chris Roa-Yaremkowycz*, Mike Paynter*, Codie Stevenson and Kyle Mack* each adding single tallies. Roa-Yaremkowycz* added three assists and Mike Ladobruk* added two assists. Goaltender Codie Stevenson surrendered 16 goals in the loss for the Slashers.
The setback halted the Slashers' six-game winning streak.
With the win, the Raymond James Raiders improve to 16-2-3-0 while the Slashers fall to 10-10-2-0.
