Calgary, AB – Evan Michalchuk* scored six goals and added two assists to lift the Icemen erased a three-goal deficit and to a 10-8 conquest over the Schooners at George Blundun on Saturday.

Capping off the scoring for the Icemen was Kyle Fraser* with two goals, Chris Burchell* and Corbin Coyes* each adding single tallies. Sean Jozsa* added three assists, Michalchuk*, Fraser* and Trevor Elms* each added two assists. Goaltender Jean-Michel Auger* picked up the win for the Icemen giving up eight goals.

The victory extinguished the Icemen's three-game losing streak.

Sniping for the Schooners was Cody Nunweiler* with a hat-trick, Steve Whitehead* with a hat-trick and Eric Miller and Ryan Perzzani contributing with a goal each. Reagan Tyson* and Jody Crawford* each added two assists. Goaltender Brad Lowe* surrendered 10 goals in the loss for the Schooners.

With the win, the Icemen improve to 9-13-0-0 while the Schooners fall to 10-9-2-0.
