Calgary, AB – Rob Walker* scored a hat-trick and added an assist to help support the IceCats in an 11-1 spanking over the Hopewell Hurricanes at George Blundun on Monday.

Adding markers for the IceCats was Andre Landry* with a hat-trick, Nik Cooper* with two goals, Kevan Sinclair and Tyson McDonald* and Corey Dahl* each with single strikes. McDonald* and Sinclair each added three assists and Doug Howland* added two assists. Goaltender Larry Guilloux picked up the victory for the IceCats holding the Hopewell Hurricanes to a single goal.

Scoring the single marker for the Hopewell Hurricanes was and Martin Carter*, his first of the season. Goaltender Karson Nielsen surrendered 11 goals in the loss for the Hopewell Hurricanes.

With the victory, the IceCats improve to 1-2-0-0 while the Hopewell Hurricanes fall to 0-3-0-0.
