Calgary, AB – Matt Glowa* scored his 12th goal of the season with 4:31 remaining in the third period and Steve Tuckey* scored two goals to help lift the Flying Elbows to a 6-5 victory over the IceCats at Stew Hendry on Tuesday.

Adding markers for the Flying Elbows was Nathan Woynarski* and Colin Oke*, Lance Delafosse* each adding single goals. Brad Barber added three assists. Goaltender Allan Manz* picked up the victory for the Flying Elbows giving up five goals.

Scoring for the IceCats was Nik Cooper* with two goals and Mark Sproxton*, John Bell* and Corey Dahl* each with single strikes. Darryl Leray* added two assists. Goaltender Jim Barath* surrendered six goals in the loss for the IceCats.

With the victory, the Flying Elbows improve to 8-7-2-0 while the IceCats fall to 7-7-4-0.
