Calgary, AB – Brandon Long* scored four goals and added an assist to spark the Sofa Kings to a 9-6 win over the Warthogs at Ernie Starr on Sunday.

Also scoring for the Sofa Kings was Lucas Long* with a hat-trick, Charles Abbott* and Tommy Hrazdira* each adding a goal. Travis Rudy* added three assists. Goaltender Nico Vandersalm * picked up the victory for the Sofa Kings giving up six goals.

Lighting the lamp for the Warthogs was Jordan Thornley* and Stu Mckenzie* with a pair of goals each, Matt Thesien* and Lauren Davies* each adding single goals. Thornley* added three assists, Mckenzie* and Chad Willis* each added two assists. Goaltender Shaun McKenzie* surrendered nine goals in the loss for the Warthogs.

With the victory, the Sofa Kings improve to 11-5-2-0 while the Warthogs fall to 7-7-2-0.
