Calgary, AB – Nick Larkin* scored a hat-trick and added an assist to help support the Colts in an 8-3 spanking over the Rustlers at Norma Bush on Saturday.

Adding markers for the Colts was J Compton and Ryan Young*, Adam Timmer*, Brandon Luong* and David Wirsta* with a goal each. Chris Toews* added three assists, Compton, Scott Meyerhoff* and Mike Day* each added two assists. Goaltender Jason Crossland* picked up the victory for the Colts giving up three goals.

Providing the offence for the Rustlers was Riley Ohara with two goals and Rob Rishaug* with a single marker. Goaltender Cam Goldade* surrendered eight goals in the loss for the Rustlers.

With the victory, the Colts improve to 1-2-0-0 while the Rustlers fall to 0-3-0-0.
