Calgary, AB – Jared Veness* scored a goal to help secure the Warthogs a victory in a 3-1 victory over the Colts at Father David Bauer on Sunday.

Adding markers for the Warthogs was Chad Dauphenais*, Jordan Thornley* each contributing with single markers. Goaltender Shaun McKenzie* picked up the victory for the Warthogs holding the Colts to a single goal.

Scoring the single marker for the Colts was and Ken Toews*, his first of the season. Goaltender Jason Crossland* surrendered three goals in the loss for the Colts.

With the victory, the Warthogs improve to 1-0-1-0 while the Colts fall to 0-2-0-0.
