Calgary, AB – Matt Thesien* scored a hat-trick and added an assist to help bring the Warthogs to a 10-1 route over the Rustlers at Ernie Starr on Sunday.

Completing the scoring for for the Warthogs was Jordan Thornley* with two goals, Chad Dauphenais* and Stu Mckenzie*, Hugh Hamilton*, James Slowman* and Pat Shippit* chipping in with singles. Dauphenais* added three assists, Thornley*, Mckenzie* and Lauren Davies* each added two assists. Goaltender Shaun McKenzie* picked up the victory for the Warthogs holding the Rustlers to a single goal.

Tallying the only goal for the Rustlers was and Justin Norbraten, his second of the season. Goaltender Clinton M surrendered 10 goals in the loss for the Rustlers.

With the victory, the Warthogs improve to 6-4-2-0 while the Rustlers fall to 0-13-0-0.
